With its slim design and rounded shapes, the Calliope is a pleasure to handle. This is true while the blade is retracted and when it’s extended. You can’t really feel the transition between wood and steel. That shows how high a level Moki is working at. The ironwood (hardwood) of the handle is inlaid with a mother-of-pearl oval on one side. Again, it fits seamlessly with the wood. The wonderful colours that the mother of pearl can assume in different types of light make this knife a real sight to behold.
