The DMT Diamond Sharpening Steel Extra Fine DS2E is a sharpening steel that will make sure your knives stay sharp. For very blunt knives we recommend a coarser DMT sharpening steel. The sharpening steel has a diameter of 9.5 mm. The cap on the tip of the sharpening steel ensures that, as you sharpen your knife, you can put the sharpening steel on your countertop without it slipping.
